We heard there’s a certain sporting event happening this weekend… we can’t even remember what it might be… but do not fear if you didn’t score tickets for that! There’s plenty of non-sporting fun happening all this week – here’s our round-up of Sassy’s top picks!
Make ’em laugh
Wouldn’t you like a night out where you can relax, kick back and have a laugh with your girlfriends… without being hit on by the entire male population of LKF?! Well we think this is a GREAT idea – Women Come First Comedy Nights, a stand-up comedy showcase where only girls are allowed to come! The very first one is this Wednesday, with five of HK’s funniest comics on the line-up, plus special prizes and girlie gifts on the night; then after 10pm, the dance-floor opens and it’s open to all. Perfect for putting a mid-week smile on your face and you never know… maybe it’ll encourage you to take to the stage and crack a few jokes come the next one!

Photo opportunities galore, this is certain to make you feel that spring has finally sprung!

May the odds be ever in your favour
It’s official… HUNGER GAMES fever has swept Sassy HQ and we have been unable to think of anything else for days! Having become addicted to the books (finished in three days flat), it’s now time for the film – starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and obligatory hot guy, Liam Hemsworth. For the uninitiated, it’s a post-apocalyptic tale of teenagers killing other teenagers in the most vicious reality tv yet… there’s thrills, spills, kills, action, sci-fi, romance and probably a pretty dress or two. We can’t wait!!!
When: Out now
Where: All good cinemas!
P.S. Of course we haven’t forgotten… there’s the small matter of the Rugby Sevens this weekend! Check out our round-up of the hottest Sevens events in town, then read our guide of tips and tricks for surviving the Sevens Sassy-style!
