WEEKENDER: Earth Hour at Eaton Hotel and Grassroots Pantry, HK Fanzone kicks off, style it up with A Day With Fé, pasta perfection & more

28 March, 2014

For all of us who’ve been caught up in Sevens fever, we know that this weekend will be one to remember! But for those who plan on surfacing from the rugby action, get ready for a fabulous selection from this weekend’s antics, including fashion photo shoots, organic dining, sample sales and a whole lotta hip hop…

Mamma mia!
There’s nothing quite like a plate of delicious, comforting pasta! We already can’t get enough of Sheung Wan’s favourite boutique restaurant, The Pasta Place, which certainly lives up to its name. With pasta, gnocchi, salads and delicious homemade desserts on offer, this cute little resto is the perfect place for a casual meal with close friends. We already love the reasonable prices here, but now they’ve introduced ‘Discount Tuesday’ dinners, there really is no excuse not to come. All you have to do is spend $150 or more on food per party (easy!), and you get a plate of pasta for free… yum! Bring on the spag bol, mac n’ cheese and pesto Genovese, all washed down with an American craft beer or a glass of special homemade lemonade spiked with coconut rum. Sounds like the ideal evening to us!

When: Every Tuesday for dinner
Where: The Pasta Place, G/F, Hillier Street, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, 27746692; The Pasta Place now deliver via FoodbyWeb
