From circuses to salsa parties, there is definitely something for everyone this week! So let’s live it up and explore the best that Hong Kong has to offer with another action-packed Weekender…


Shake your bon bon!
Get ready for the biggest salsa event yet to hit HK with Coyote Bar & Grill’s Dirty Hands Salsa Night! Shake your bon bons with a live salsa band and professional dancers to help you swing those hips into the night. There will also be beer competitions and salsa dancing prizes for your entertainment, not to mention free chimichangas and free tequila shots if you dare to brave Coyote’s Crazy Famous Barber Chair! Sassy’s tip for the coolest part of the night? A block of ice for drinking tequila straight from! So get your dancing shoes on and join in on some salsa action. Ole!

What comes to mind when you think of Chanel? That iconic little black jacket? Well, fashionistas will have a field day with The Little Black Jacket exhibition at The Space, which celebrates that timeless Chanel garment in the run-up to the release of Karl Lagerfeld’s book The Little Black Jacket: Chanel’s Classic Revisited. The exhibition will showcase 113 of Lagerfeld’s stunning photos, which show the jacket being worn and transformed by different celebs and personalities, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Kirsten Dunst and China’s own Tang Wei. Now if only we could afford a little black jacket of our own!

When: 7-16 July, 11am- 7pm

If you missed their Zaia show in Macau, here is your chance to catch Cirque du Soleil’s Saltimbanco right here in Honkers. A whirlwind of balancing, jumping, spinning, juggling, death-defying acrobatics and clowning, all in Cirque’s inimitable style, there’s no excuse for missing out this time as the circus has come right to your doorstep… go on, show us your best cartwheel!
