It is starting to warm up a bit here in Hong Kong and my thoughts are now onto dressing for the warm Hong Kong summer. This year I am going to force myself to try new looks as my structured summer dresses from last year are feeling a bit ho hum to me at the moment.

My latest obsession is shorts and I can’t wait to hit the stores to recreate the following looks. The great thing about these shorties is that you can dress them up for a night out by paring them with a great pair of heels or wear them with a flat or stylish thong for running errands.

The key to keeping the look chic and not sloppy is all in how you wear them – if you are going to go baggy make sure you keep everything else simple and structured. If your shorts are itty bitty a flowy top will balance the look fabulously.
