If you asked me whether I would rock a romper a month ago I would have said hell no but I have to say I am surprising myself because I seem to be opening up to these one piece cuties.
While I have yet to try one on myself I have seen plenty of girls pull this look off (and not just skinny minnies either) so I am going to give this trend a chance. Since I am a bit nervous about this whole romper thing to begin with I think the first step is to keep the look as close to my own personal style as possible. I am loving the below two looks and am going to head off to find a similar version that won’t break the bank. I am thinking a trip to H&M may be in order this week!
If you are on the “Love them” side of the fence here are few tips to remember when wearing your romper:
– Don’t load up on too many accessories. Sometimes big sunglasses is all you need to make you look instantly chic.
– Belted rompers are the most universally flattering as they can help define your shape.
– For evening go with a silk version for a more dressier look
– As always, your shoes are the finishing touches to your look so choose carefully. For day go with a gladiator sandal and for night pair your romper with a heel or a wedge.
So, we want to know…do you love them or hate them?
