Every girl has her own style, and that’s clear to see in our Sassy office! We love to see how people can make the same item of clothing look so different using their own unique accessorising and personal style. That’s why we’ve decided to feature some of our stylish team members every month in our latest new feature ‘Four Ways to Wear’! This month we took a plain white t-shirt and styled it four very different ways. Hopefully this will give you a shot of inspiration for your own outfits and show you that your wardrobe doesn’t have to be walk-in sized to achieve numerous different looks!

“Ah yes, the white t-shirt. I may or may not have stolen most of my brother’s when he went to university (it’s not like he was going to use them in freezing cold England anyway). I usually wear it when I’m either feeling super lazy or trying to balance out another crazy piece in my outfit, i.e. in this case, my X-Men denim pencil skirt.
Also, since everyone seems to own a pair of white Converse, I decided to switch them up with some dark blue laces and threw on my other staple; a silver drawstring backpack that can probably be seen from space.”
Megan wears: X-Men denim pencil skirt from Mee and Gees, Monki silver drawstring backpack, white Converse and black tights. Take this look down a notch with this alternative black pencil skirt we found.

“A white t-shirt isn’t something I’d normally wear, but after doing this shoot, I’m beginning to wonder why! It’s super versatile, as you can see.
I went with more of a biker chic(k) look, with a vintage black leather jacket borrowed from mum, washed-out jeans from Express, lace-less black leather Bedford shoes from BCBGeneration and my Kate Spade Ellen Crossbody bag, topped off with my trusty black scarf from Accessorize to keep the chill away.”
Shaneli wears: White tee from H&M’s Basic range, jeans from Express, Bedford shoes from BCBGeneration, Kate Spade Ellen Crossbody bag, black scarf from Accessorize. Want to try out the black leather jacket look without breaking your bank? We love this New Look one on Asos!

“A white t-shirt is the ultimate in versatile fashion – in my opinion, whether its dressed up or down, you can do no wrong with a LWT (Little White Tee). The weather in HK is a bit hit or miss at the moment and you never really know if it’s going to be blustery or muggy, which is why I’ve teamed my white Tee with a trusty pair of distressed black jeans and layered up with an oversized flannel shirt (thanks, dad!).
Tying the shirt around your waist will help cinch in your waist and cover any love handles, while skinny black jeans with rolled up cuffs will help elongate your legs, giving an overall leaner silhouette.
Channelling my inner rocker, I can’t help but layer up with statement jewellery and my trusty Alexander McQueen bullet necklace is just the ticket. Pop a hat on and the “hipster-blogger” look is complete!”
Vanessa wears: Distressed black jeans, oversized flannel shirt, Alexander McQueen Bullet necklace, Dooney & Bourke bag, H&M ankle cuff heels, Primark black hat. Looking for a “hipster-blogger” black hat of your own? We like this one from Les Nouvelles!
Lauren, Sassy Hong Kong Editor
“I decided to channel a J.Crew-esque look that would be perfect for work. The blazer helps to smarten up the very casual jeans and is great at disguising my ill-fitting white Tee (which actually belongs to my boyfriend… oops!).
The white t-shirt acts as the perfect white canvas for the very blingy necklace that I got as a gift, and my Oroton bag is surprisingly roomy and so useful! Especially when I’m rushing from the office to meetings and need to stuff my purse, phone, charger, notebook, pens and makeup in. This outfit is comfortable, easy and smart-casual… an office staple!”
Lauren wears: Topshop pale pink blazer, American Eagle Outfitters jeans, Dune leopard print heels, Oroton handbag and her own necklace (gift). Want to waltz in to work with your own leopard print heels? Why not try these sassy shoes!
Want a white Tee to style your own way? They’re cheap and so easy to get! We like this casual V-neck version from Madewell or their plain cropped version to go with high-waisted jeans, shorts or trousers.
