Looking for a new place to get your nails done? Canary Nails offers quick, convenient and flawless designs

You step into the relaxing space and feel instantly taken care of. Canary Nails is a Japanese Salon, with lots of natural light, and an open, welcoming space. With the newest branch having just opened, we were thrilled to get the opportunity to check it all out in person. Both locations are conveniently located in Central (with one on Queen Victoria Street, and one on Wellington Street), so it’s easily on the Island.

The experts here specialise in super detailed, intricate designs with attention to fine lines. They pride themselves in offering a flawless finish. You can feel free to bring along a design of your choice, and they’ll let you know if they’re able to copy the exact style, or make minor adjustments. An ideal excuse to spend some time scanning the latest gradient nails on Instagram!

canary nails - salon review

The polite and friendly attitude is paired with a gentle touch, which makes the entire experience a calming, stress-relieving hour. The relaxed hospitality strikes the ideal balance between professional and welcoming. Plus, both stores are on the quaint side, giving you the feeling that you’re not minutes away from Central’s busy streets.

Canary Nails provides gel and regular manicures and pedicures (plus eyelashes service in the Wellington street shop). Check out Canary Nails’ Instagram or Facebook page to see more of what’s available.
