Spotlight on Aesop Sheung Wan Store

8 August, 2011

Walking into the newest Aesop shop in Hong Kong feels like walking into another world entirely. Calm, minimalistic, yet earthy, it is very much a world you want to be a part of; a complete contradiction to the madness of Hong Kong’s bustling streets outside. Inside, each of Aesop’s products pack a punch in both performance and packaging and rows of their time honored products line simple wooden ledges, creating a space that is both distinctive and familiar. Aesop has just announced the launch of a brand new product, the 8th member of the Parsley Seed Collection, the Parsley Seed Facial Cleanser, which promises to live up to the remarkably high standards of the rest of the Aesop range.

For those of you not familiar with the Parsley Seed Collection, or even Aesop for that matter, here is a bit of background:

Aesop, a company committed to using the highest-quality plant-based ingredients, started in 1987 in Melbourne, where the lab still is today. Each of the products is thoroughly researched, tried and tested ensuring optimum performance and results. Rather than entering the market with a bang, Aesop began as a slow burner; carefully working behind the scenes ensuring that each product they produced would speak for itself. Although, loved by many celebrities and people ‘in the know’ all over the globe, Aesop will never reveal who they are, honorably preferring to allow their customers to be attracted to them for their philosophies and the performance of their products.

Each of the Parsley Seed collection products contain, unsurprisingly, the protective ingredient, parsley seed and their concoctions deliver antioxidants and vitamins to the skin efficiently and effectively. The brand new Parsley Seed Facial Cleanser is perfect for all climates, and is easily absorbed. It removes dirt and mildly exfoliates, as well as being an excellent suppresser of free radicals, which are held responsible for premature aging of the skin. So if you like your products to look as good on your skin as they will on your bathroom shelves, and as natural as can be, than Aesop is definitely one to watch.

Parsley Seed Facial Cleanser is available in a 100ml bottle for $295 or 200ml for $440.

Aesop Sheung Wan, 16 Upper Station Street, Sheung Wan, 2857 7356
