Jimmy Choo Hunter Wellingtons

With rainy season coming soon I started thinking about the fact that I should probably stock up on a pair of wellies so I’m all prepared for puddles, splashing, and loads of drizzling. My favourites are definitely Hunter Wellingtons which are key to staying dry….I can’t stand when the bottom of my pants get dripping wet and cling to my ankles. I just found out that last April (2009) Jimmy Choo and Hunter joined together and have now have the Jimmy Choo for Hunter Rain Boots. Seriously, a pair of these would make me welcome the rain any day of the week!

The boots standout even on a gloomy day with a crocodile embossed design, chic gold buckles, and leopard print lining. Immediately upon release Jimmy Choo couldn’t keep these on the shelves. Ultra trendy celebrities from Kate Moss to Gwenyth Paltrow have been spotted walking the streets on those not so dry days with the Jimmy Choo for Hunter Rain Boots.

Exciting news, Jimmy Choo and Hunter have recently brought the boots back in stock and if you’ve got $395USD you too can own a pair! I called the Jimmy Choo boutique in Ocean Centre and unfortunately I was told that Hong Kong Jimmy Choo boutiques do not carry the boots I covet. So if you are heading to the UK or the US for the Chinese New Year, you may want to purchase a pair to keep your feet warm and water free!

With the expensive price tag I will probably stick to the original tall Hunter Boots which come in an array of colors like black, yellow, red and can be purchased at Nordstrom.com then shipped to Hong Kong for about $930HKD.
