With the launch of its new holistic Well Feeling initiative, the luxury hotel is giving us the perfect excuse to take a break with healthy food, spa experiences and more. Think healthy eating, mindful events and relaxing spa experiences.
We’re almost at the end of the year, so you’re not alone if you’re feeling like you’re running on a tank that’s half empty. In our fast-paced city, with so much on offer in between work and play, it’s hard to find the time to take a moment for ourselves. Enter: the Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong and its new Well Feeling initiative – just the excuse we need to reset and recharge before the run-up to the busy festive season.
Across the globe, Four Seasons hotels are renowned for offering the most luxurious, five-star experiences, and it is now taking things a step further and leading the way into the world of mindfulness and wellness with its new Well Feeling initiative. Whether you’re in town for a few days, or you’re treating yourself to a much-deserved staycation, the hotel is taking a new approach to its guest’s journey, offering wellness options that holistically integrate into all phases of your stay, making sure your nutritious, healthy lifestyle isn’t compromised because of location.
Beginning with what always catches our attention: the food, with the Well Feeling initiative, Four Seasons’ is offering guests much more than just salad and granola. Specially created by Executive Chef Andrea Accordi and respected Nutritionist and Functional Medicine specialist Miles Price, of the Life Clinic in Hong Kong, the menu is redefining healthy food and eating with dishes such as Roasted Organic Welsh Rack of Lamb, authentic Thai Blue Prawn Curry and more. Whether you’re a guest at the hotel or just enjoying a meal at one of its world-famous eateries, the Well Feeling options can be found in the hotel’s Michelin-starred Lung King Heen and Caprice. We got to try some of the food at the launch and can completely vouch for the you-fooled-me plant-based meat, and a gorgeous selection of healthy-enough desserts.
Along with Well-Feeling dishes, the hotel is also helping us feel better from the inside out through a variety of mindfulness practices. So much more than your standard spa experiences, the Four Seasons Hotel Hong helps guests to meditate at their own pace using iPad’s loaded with meditation apps and noise cancelling headphones. Guests at all phases of their personal wellness journeys will also have the opportunity to explore new frontiers of wellbeing with the Masters of Wellness series, that features a selection of visiting experts practising a range of specialities, from reiki to yoga, and curated by Director of Spa, Shoshana Weinberg. In addition to the Masters of Wellness series, the hotel is encouraging guests to explore new fitness territories with activities on offer such as weekly tai chi classes by the pool, circuit training classes and morning runs.
For those who would like to extend their mindfulness practice to a community setting, monthly Full Moon Meditations led by Director of Spa Shoshana Weinberg are a popular gathering for like-minded wellness seekers. We’ve had the pleasure of experiencing one of Shoshana’s Full Moon Sessions ourselves, and we’d encourage anyone keen to explore spirituality and openness to book a spot before places fill up!
The hotels Well Feeling Meetings are also just the thing to make you feel good, with its mix of healthy food, mini guided group meditations, and even a stretching corner with the fitness staff, you’re sure to leave feeling revitalised.
