We are always looking for new ways to appreciate local culture and creativity. From the best cha chaan teng to the latest local designers, we love all things Hong Kong! That’s why we had to share this night of local jams with you. For one night only at Hong Kong Babies, you’ll get to listen to locally produced tunes, spun by not one, not two, but six different local DJs! Hosted at one of our favourite underground art spaces, XXX, it’s definitely going to be a night of quality sounds. Don’t miss this if you’re looking for something a bit different that’s truly Hong Kong!

All the world’s a stage
Forget Coachella, because Shakespeare in the Port is the place to be this weekend! It’s the biggest outdoor theatre festival dedicated to promoting and sharing Shakespearean work to the public. There’s going to be evening performances everyday plus matinees on the weekends for three whole weeks! On top of all the fab shows, there are free events and workshops going on too. With games, prizes, an Easter egg hunt and an open cast party, it will be a jam-packed festival. To be there, or not to be there… we’d say the former!

It’s brunch time!
We’ve combined breakfast (the most important meal of the day!) with a lazy Saturday lunch to create our first ever Brunch Club! Join us for a boozy afternoon to kick start your weekend. We’re salivating at the thought of Alfie’s eggs (Scottish smoked salmon, spinach and hollandaise sauce, all on an English muffin), fish & chips, toad in the hole and roast pork belly, followed by an array of desserts! Oh, and how could we forget the booze? There’ll be free-flow Bloody Alfie’s and Mimosas… it’s the perfect way to spend a Saturday!

Rooftop ramblings…
Celebrate the end of our four-day week with a chilled out rooftop screening of an Xtreme documentary! Instruments of Change is a surfing documentary that follows a crew of daring surfers. They explore unchartered waters and discover awesome un-crowded waves throughout Indonesia. This exclusive screening will be the perfect opportunity to enjoy an intimate evening in the summer breeze, and they’ll have free beers and popcorn to boot! Surf’s up girls…
