August is almost at an end, which means autumn is well on its way! So why not make the most of the sun and hit some beach parties or get ready for the new season with some shopping? It’s all here in our Weekender…

In need of some new inspiration for your fall wardrobe? Then it’s the perfect time to check out a cool new fashion label to the Hong Kong scene, N12H! You can get an exclusive preview of their gorgeous new collection at their Fall/Winter 2013 Fashion Show; inspired by the wintery landscapes and Northern Lights of Iceland, we’re already eyeing up their ultra chic dresses and urban luxe separates. The event is guest list only so make sure you RSVP stat – and the first 30 Sassy girls to RSVP will receive a complimentary special custom-made N12H gift.

For the sixth year in a row, the Kowloon Bazaar is back… and bigger than ever! From handcrafted to couture, you’ll be able find everything and anything perfect for sprucing up your wardrobe, your kitchen pantry or even your sitting room. With unique sellers from around the world as well as homegrown local vendors, you can enjoy a day of shopping, food, drinks and, of course, lucky draws galore! Part of the proceeds will go to charity so remember to shop your heart out – and don’t forget to say hi to Team Sassy as our sister site Sassy Mama will have a stall there too!

When: 31 August, 11am-8pm

Here’s another chance to give back to the local community while having a good time! Drink For Good is a fundraising event happening across some of the best bars in the ‘Kong, where for every drink you buy in participating bars and restos, $5 or more will be donated to HandsOn Hong Kong, a charity helping local underprivileged children (all proceeds from the night will go towards a trip for 100 disabled kids to Ocean Park!). Sassy will be sponsoring Lily & Bloom for this great event, where $5 from every ticket for their awesome Gatsby Night of free-flow cocktails and canapés will be donated, so remember to #DrinkForGood while you get your drinks on!

You can munch down on their special South American-inspired menu (grilled chimichurri steak – yes please!) and play games like giant Jenga, slack-lining and sand castle building.
