Victorian Spa at the Disneyland Hotel

9 June, 2010

Disneyland isn’t just for kiddies these days! The Disneyland Hotel is home to the Victorian Spa by Elemis.

Last Friday Maura, Hester and I took the afternoon off to indulge in some pampering at the Victorian Spa. Walking into the grand lobby after the trip from Central to Lantau was enough to make us feel like we were on holiday which really helped us get into rest and relaxation mode.

With marble floors, ornate furnishing, gorgeous chandeliers and lush turn of the century decor the Victorian Spa is the picture of pure opulence. The only reminder of Mickey and his friends is the Disney themed music (which can be a little surreal as you are drifting off to sleep during your treatment!).

Truly a spa destination with facilities including saunas, jacuzzis, fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, and 10 treatment rooms named after essential oils (each room is scented accordingly).

Immediately when we slipped into our plush white robes we felt like princesses.  We each enjoyed the Elemis Dream Journey which is a 50 minute massage plus a 30 minute facial.

We took advantage of being at the hotel and had lunch al fresco by the pool. Definitely a great way to end our week.

Special Offer: Victorian Spa by Elemis is actually offering the ultimate Girls’ Day Out Package….. If  3 or more friends book together you can indulge in the the Elemis Dream Journey massage and facial plus a one way transfer to the spa with a car picking you up in Central!  The Girls Day Out Package is available for $930 each Sunday to Thursday and $980 if booked for a Friday or Saturday.
