Shop Walk Spotlight: LoveIt, Fang Fong Projects, OCHO

29 June, 2011
Today our three featured boutiques (LoveIt, Fang Fong Projects, OCHO) all have something in common this season. They are simply in love with summer dresses! Which dress fits your summer style best?

Love It

What is your favorite trend for summer?
Summer is the perfect time to break out your nautical-inspired pieces. This is one our favourite anchor trends as it never goes out of style. This season the look has been reinvented with modern silhouettes.

From your collection, what is your favorite piece for summer and why?
Our must-have piece for summer is this blue and white slim stripe dress from New York label, Bell. The ruffled hem adds a modern accent to a classically feminine look. This casual piece can be worn during the day with flats and transformed after dark with a change of accessories.

What would you pair it with?
This dress looks great with these Rough Justice tan wedges (perfect for going out in HK). The key is to not go overboard on the sailor-esque trend and to only wear one nautical piece. To make a statement, we have added this fab tribal-inspired necklace from New York label, Lionette.

Fang Fong Projects

What is your favorite trend for summer?
Vintage sixties style is key this summer. The look is all about classic A-line dresses, tunics, pattern mini skirts and short jackets. Bold accessories can enhance the look a lot!

From your collection, what is your favorite piece for summer and why?
I’ve picked a simple six panel dress as this summer “must have” dress. The silhouette can create such an elegant look on a girl. The bright solid colored tone is a hit for this year too!

What would you pair it with?
I would pair it with wooden wedges and bold necklace!

OCHO

What is your favorite trend for summer?
The 70’s and the maxi dresses…we simply love it!

From your collection, what is your favorite piece for summer and why?
This is hard…we love it all. But if we have to chose just one piece to have…we’ll go for Maxi Dresses.  They are perfect for a effortless look. They are  also fresh, versatile, practical and pretty of course.

What would you pair it with?
At the Beach we would wear it over our bikini and pair it with straw bag, hat, flip flops & sunglasses (big ones) and in the City we would wear wedges and totem or a cross body bag.
