We’ve put together this handy Guide to Holiday Fairs with all the best Christmas fairs, holiday shopping markets, charity bazaars and more to help turn that Christmas chore into a festive treat. Mark your calendars and stay ahead of the game this year by ticking off that Christmas to-do list early!

Holiday Bazaar at the Fringe Club

It’s today! Hurry down to Wyndham street and check out one of the first shopping events of the 2015 Christmas season. Set in the Fringe Club’s Anita Chan Lai-ling Gallery, there will be be an extensive showcase of high quality products from both international and local vendors. Get those gifts early!

Sassy x Dine & Design Market Place

Gift and Lifestyle Fair

The first of the four prestige fairs this year, Gift and Lifestyle brings you a unique shopping experience. Hosted in the expansive Conrad Ballroom, there are going to be hundreds of stalls to browse. Discover beautiful items from a diverse set of vendors who come from all over the world. Find some hidden gems for your loved ones (and yourself!) with everything from jewellery, fashion and accessories, to gourmet food, home-ware and children’s products and more.

American Women’s Association Charity Bazaar

AWA is back for its 29th annual Charity Bazaar! This year, it’s taking place at PMQ, where there will be over 70 vendors, a silent auction, Lucky Lai See, and The AWA Giving Tree. The annual Charity Bazaar is the AWA’s main fundraising event, in which they aim to raise money to help fund education scholarships for local students and support grants for the needy in Hong Kong (if you would want to get more involved an volunteer sign up here).

Sassy Mama x BaoBae x Flight Centre Holiday Marketplace

The much talked about, wildly popular event is back. And this time, Sassy Mama bringing it holiday-style! Get ready to conquer that holiday gift list all in one place, because Sassy Mama is teaming up with the lovely girls from BaoBae and Flight Centre to bring you another spectacular Holiday Marketplace. Come have a blast checking out all the many different vendors covering gifts for everyone from baby to mum to friends to pets to junior’s teacher. The awesome kids’ coaching group, Sport4Kids, will also be running fun-filled sports games and activities for little ones at Hollywood Road Park, right across the street from the Marketplace. Head on down and join in with a ton of fun activities to keep everyone entertained, and don’t forget to RSVP! Island East Market at D2 Place

Island East Market is all about having some of the best local farmers, artisans and designers in one place. This time around they are switching up the location to D2, a hub of arts and crafts in Lai Chi Kok. You can look forward to these weekend markets every Saturday and Sunday where you can browse a variety of vendors selling quality goods from clothes and handmade accessories, to fresh, organic produce.

When: Every Saturday and Sunday, 14 – 22 November, 11:00 am – 5:30pm

Island School Winter Fair

Join in on the celebrations held at Island School (you might even get the chance to reminisce your own time as student there!). There are going to be commercial stalls, a haunted house, the first ever Silent Auction, food stalls, baked goods, entertainment and more. You’re sure to have loads of fun in the company of the energetic, young volunteers and you’ll also have easy access to this fun fair with free shuttles running from City Hall every hour, starting from 11.30 am with the last bus leaving at 4.30pm.

Hidden Truffles X’Mas Artisanal Bazaar

Hidden Truffles doesn’t disappoint if you’re looking for a place to pick up amazing artisanal Christmas gifts. Scandinavian Christmas Bazaar

Experience genuine Danish and Swedish Christmas traditions right here in Hong Kong! City Kids Christmas Fair

A much-anticipated event in the City Kids’ calendar, their annual fundraising Christmas fair promises an afternoon full of fun and games for the entire family. Drop off the little ones at the entertainment corner as they get stuck in to arts and crafts, face painting and the bouncy castle while you get to ticking off that never ending Christmas list! Grab a raffle ticket and get stuck in to their mouth-watering BBQ, bakes sales and coffee – you’ll need it after all that shopping.

When: Saturday, 21 November, 10.30am-4pm. Visits from Santa will run from 11am-12pm and 1pm-2pm.

Pre-Christmas Gift Parade

Something Old Popup 

Get a glimpse of the past at the upcoming ‘Something Old Vintage Popup’ at D2. There will be an extensive mix of vendors present along with workshops, events and exhibitions. The FIS fair is back again with their annual Christmas Fair on 5 December. There will be tasty food stalls and fun festive activities for all to enjoy – it’s the perfect occasion to relax and enjoy the weekend.

Hong Lok Yuen Christmas Market

Hong Lok Yuen’s annual Christmas Market is a great place to pick up high quality gifts for friends and family. Apart from numerous shopportunities, there will also be some special Christmas entertainment, yummy festive food and Santa’s grotto.

Last but not least of the Conrad Christmas Fairs is the Christmas Gift Festival. It’s the closest one to Christmas, so if you’re looking for some last minute shopping, don’t miss out! Hullett House Christmas Market

Get into the festive groove at this Christmas Market located in a colonial heritage hotel. Featuring gourmet food, Christmas decorations, handmade accessories and live entertainment, this fair is definitely not one to miss.  This year, Hullett House is partnering up with charity beneficiary HandsOn Hong Kong for the Christmas fair, so on Saturday and Sunday donated toys from the fair will be distributed to Hong Kong’s underprivileged children… that’s what Christmas is all about!

JCCAC Handicraft Fair

Check out this Handicraft Fair in JCCAC, a hub in Shep Kip Mei for upcoming artists. Lots of these talented local artists will at the fair, sharing their work. In addition to art, artisanal products and handicraft goodies, there will also be a movie shown on the rooftop of the venue, as well as live music. Keep that post-Christmas festive vibe going and explore this interesting artsy space in Hong Kong.
