Sassy Review: Institut Esthederm – Time Technology Cream

17 October, 2011

Not too long ago, I was given a pot of Institut Esthederm’s Time Technology Cream to test and review for Sassy. The timing couldn’t have worked better: I’d been underย quite aย bit ofย stress at work and my skin was showing signs of fatigue. All the concealers and highlighters in the world could not disguise my lack of sleep. Even pinkย rougeย could not hideย the greenish tingeย my sallow skinย had acquired.

Luckily for me,ย the Time Technology cream promised to “re-educate my skin” to regain its former radiance.ย The textureย appearedย richer than my usual summer creams, but sinks in easily. Even underย hot weather, it does not slide or feel heavy. As far as cream analogies go, it’s closer toย whipped cream than pouring cream.

The unscented cream alsoย contains gold and violet mother of pearl minerals, which imparts a sheen to the skin when applied. I was a little wary of this at first; however, the specks ofย shimmer do disappear under makeup.

I couldn’t find any fault with this product, mainly because itย does what it claims to do, lightening dark patchesย of skinย whileย buying me time I didn’t have. It is a one-step regime: just slap on the cream all over your face, concentrating on “shadow” areas such as under expression lines. I suggest wearing sunscreen over this during the day as it does not containย any SPF.

I reckon this would be great for that awkward period between summer and autumn, like a soothing hug for your skin and a gentle caress that says ,”no need toย freak out, here’s some goodness to make you glow instead”.

Esthederm can be purchased at Sasa and their Time Technology Cream costs about 588HKD
