Mother’s Day is just around the corner and I am sure you already have a gift picked out, right? You probably found something months ago and have already had it monogrammed and gift-wrapped and all you have to do is add the card! What… you haven’t even thought about it yet?! And men, if you are reading this and this is your wife’s first mother’s day… we have you covered too! And who’s to say anything if you pocket a few treats for yourself too?!
Introducing Pandora and their here-to-save-the-day-and-keep-you-out-of-the-doghouse jewellery! This Danish company is the third largest jewellery brand in the world with over 10,000 points of sale, with several stores in Hong Kong, so you are sure to find one close by!
All of the jewellery on offer is always solid and never plated, so you are looking at solid 100% 14k, 18k gold, and sterling silver. The items are also hand-finished, with the gemstones mounted by hand too and never glued, meaning a product that will last the test of time. And that is a good thing because this is something that the recipient will want to pass down for generations to come!
For those first time moms out there, I would recommend a charm bracelet. Pandora offers over 600 charms to choose from, so no matter what life’s special moments there is sure to be a totem to please! Every year charms and spacers are added to Pandora’s collection for you to add to your jewellery, and one day this bracelet can be passed on to your daughter and she can continue the tradition. My grandmother just gave me her charm bracelet this past Christmas which she started over 60 years ago and it is one of my most prized possessions! Another wonderful option would be the stackable birthstone rings. These could be worn to signify the months for each of the children in the family or for yourself and your husband if you are yet to be blessed with your own babies! My husband can’t catch a break here though, as my birthday is in April so my birthstone is a diamond!

There are also some adorable dragonfly charms, which would be so cute on a short necklace. At the show, the models (including local celeb Karen Mok) were decked out in loads of jewellery, so feel free to keep adding pieces until your hearts content or your credit cards are maxed out – in this city I’m not sure which would come first!
