The exhibition is titled Henna Warriors – Henna knows no boundaries and I personally can’t wait to attend the opening as I was one of the “models” Sara used for this project. The very talented Sara has been working on this for quite some time and her goal for the exhibition is to increase awareness as well as explain the power of the traditional form of Henna Art in a modern and artistic way using the different personalities of 4 entrepreneurial women here in Hong Kong.
The four lucky ladies who participated were Joyce Yung (RAW), Kanchan Panjabi (Kanchan Couture), Sunee LaClaire (Immaginare Ltd) and finally me! Each one of our designs were drawn on specific parts of our body to bring out our own individual strength, vitality and vigor and Sara also used inspiration from quotes by Paul Coelho’s book Warriors of Light.
As a bit of a teaser I have some backstage pics to share with you next week to give you a glimpse of how amazing Sara’s work is. I have to say some of the pics that I have seen of the other girls are truly incredible and I am so looking forward to seeing the final reveal on the 22nd.
