Feels like there is so much change in the air. I have friends and family who are moving to new homes or countries, starting families and creating new businesses (hope we get to tell you about a few of them here!). Guess this is the adult version of “Back to School” huh?
When I think about it, this is the time of year I always seem to associate with fresh starts. I grab the September issues to see what cosy items will lead me into the cooler months and there is something about the end of the year that fills me with lots of optimism. I know it sounds kind of backwards but the last few months have always been a time to start looking at things with a whole new perspective.
One of my own personal changes is a bit of an update on my abode. For the past few months it seemed as if all I could talk about was moving but after seeing some places I loved (and losing them) and places that were pretty hideous I decided that my fresh start would be in the form of redecoration. I am super excited about my new closet and my absolute favourite part is my jewllery drawer. When I open it every morning it just makes me smile to see so many shiny and pretty things just staring at me. Fingers are crossed that I keep it neat as I have been known to let my accessories drawer get a tad messy…
So, you may be asking, are there any changes on the Sassy front? Yup! We are going to start working on a few fun projects behind the scenes that we hope to tell you about sometime soon. I am not going to lie, we are in the very early changes so give us a bit of time but we think you are going to love it as much as we love the idea of it. It is going to be good! We have also added a bit to our team and hope to do some features on our new team members in the near future so you can get to know them too!
We will be sending out the invite to our September Sassy Hour this week. It will be our official goodbye to summer and we are saying adios in style. It has plenty of “wow” factor and let’s just say you will leave feeling pretty blissful… Check your email on Thursday for all the details.
What I need help on this week… My man’s birthday is in a few weeks and I could use some suggestions on what to get him. Help a girl out please. I am struggling this year!
