Kate Spade: Book of the Month

Over at Sassy we love Kate Spade.  Her designs are always so feminine with punches of color giving them a fun retro-modern feel.  We can’t seem to get enough of her pretty purses and feminine frocks!

Kate Spade will soon be releasing a new collection of bags that are sure to be coveted by literature loving fashionistas; the Book of the Month Clutch.  She’s basically turned vintage book cover classics (The Great Gatsby, Emma, The Importance of Being Earnest, Great Expectations and A Tale of Two Cities) into the most adorable clutches.

Starting in August the design house will release the clutches one at a time just like a true book of the month club. Currently you can pre-order these lovelies online which retail at about $325USD, a bit more than your average paperback!

I particularly love The Great Gatsby clutch in bright yellow with the draping string of pearls. Hmmmm I wonder if my husband would notice if I bought the entire collection and displayed them on our bookshelf?!
