Flighty Collection of Eye Makeup from MAC

We’ve been talking a lot about colour blocking for clothes this season, but makeup is also in a bolder mood for Spring/Summer, with a whole array of hues and shades in style. From neon nails to hot lips and daring eyes, anything goes when it comes to colour right now. If like us, you try to find slightly more wearable ways to incorporate trends into your look and don’t really see yourself rocking hot pink eyeshadow at the office, then M.A.C‘s new Flighty collection could be just the ticket.

These fabulous eye shadows (HK150) come in seventeen shades that looks incredibly rich and scary in the pot, but which go on almost like watercolours, with a soft wash of colour and shimmer that’s wearable for daytime, and can be built up to a more intense look for evening. Some of the shades have a touch of glitter in them, but nothing that would tip you into drag territory, and the mousse-like texture is surprisingly easy to apply, even with your fingers if you’re an amateur with brushes like me.
