Pure Yoga unveils its latest studio in Pacific Place

Yoga studios can be found in every district, and with new studios popping up all over Hong Kong, it can be tricky to choose one that suits you. A comfortable environment is as essential as the quality of instructors, and ultimately you want to sign up to a studio which fits your lifestyle. Not sure where to begin looking for a studio? We’ve got just the answer…

The Location

We regularly promise ourselves that today will be the day that we wake up early, meditate, eat a proper breakfast (we’re out of snack bars anyway) and head to the gym, but in reality we barely have the time for a quick coat of mascara and a Starbucks coffee. When it comes to working out, we have to be realistic – which is why location is key! Just a quick walk through Admiralty MTR, Pure Yoga has opened its ninth location in Pacific Place. Quick to get to (and conveniently nestled amidst our favourite shops), this 10,000 square-foot facility has four dedicated yoga studios and over 120 classes a week taught by internationally-certified teachers. And as an epicentre for business in Hong Kong, this central location means that if we do hit snooze on our alarms one too many times, we can pop down for a quick class (like its Yoga for Office workers session!) over lunch or wait for rush hour to blow over during Savasana.

The Facilities

If we’re putting in the work and sweating for an hour, we’re looking forward to a decent shower, too. Good facilities are undoubtedly a massive incentive in signing up to a new studio or gym – we want to be able to leave relaxed and refreshed! Boasting enormous changing rooms (complete with lush rainforest showers!), the days of frantically trying to wash, dry and style our hair before making it to our 1pm meeting are over. Equipped with high-powered hairdryers and ghd straighteners, the changing rooms have all the tools and amenities to get spruced up. We may even find the time to moisturise… the products provided are all-natural, after all.

Pure Yoga is designed to pamper mind, body and soul, creating chill out areas that you can relax and work in as well as offering high-quality and stylish apparel.Treat yourself to a new pair of yoga pants, and when you’re done shopping, head over to nood food for a well-deserved smoothie, or even a salad bursting with fresh produce.

The Classes

Plush towels are a huge bonus, but what we look for in a quality yoga studio are the classes. With four spacious studios for all the variety of yoga classes on offer, there’s bound to be something that meets your individual needs and capability. All of the instructors at Pure Yoga are trained to a high level, and capable of teaching everything from aerial yoga, to alignment, Ashtanga, Hot Hatha and Vinyasa. They’re approachable and passionate about their practice.

The professionals at Pure Yoga also understand just how hectic Hong Kong can be, devising the most comprehensive schedule of meditation classes that work around your busy schedules and providing a much-needed sense of calm, along with “Yoga for Office Workers” classes (exclusive to Pacific Place studio).
