Steak on Elgin

Opening in the heart of SoHo, Steak on Elgin is a new steakhouse, serving up quality produce from the British Isles. Now in its soft opening, the restaurant is open for dinner daily, with dishes on the menu that include Dry-aged 100% grass-fed Rib-Eye on the Bone (30-ounce, serves two – $1,280), and a Welsh Rhug Estate Organic Lamb Rack ($680), along with plenty of other premium meaty delights. Have your meats with a choice of delectable sides, such as bana cauda creamed spinach, hand-cut triple cooked fries, Yorkshire Pudding and more (all priced at $78), and finish your meal with a range of British classics.

Rempah Noodles

Sitting on Hennessy Road, Rempah Noodles is a new addition to the Wan Chai restaurant scene. The casual dining spot is serving up authentic dishes and traditional Nonya noodles. We can’t wait to try the Nonya Laksa Lemak , which is a spicy coconut broth, made with Rempah’s very own infusion of spices, and served with thick rice vermicelli prawns, fish cakes, shredded chicken, bean curd puffs, bean sprouts and herbs!

The Butchers Club Burger

Available from 26 March to 6 April, the all new Easter-inspired Scotch ‘Easter’ Egg Burger ($120) at The Butchers Club Burger is not to be missed. Featuring a soft-boiled organic egg encased in rich Irish pork sausage and golden panko crumbs, the gooey egg is then topped with a bacon and red onion jam and crisp iceberg lettuce, before being encased in a buttery toasted brioche bun.

Also coming up at The Butchers Club Burger is the return of the Hong Kong Sevens Triple Happiness Challenge! Running from Wednesday, 4 April until Monday, 9 April, the challenge will be available at all The Butchers Club Burger locations and will consist of a Triple Happiness meal set ($240), including the limited edition Triple Happiness Burger, duck fat fries and an ice-cold beer. Finish it all in seven minutes or less and it’s on the house!

Posto Pubblico

Just reopened and revamped, our SoHo fave, Posto Pubblico is now serving up some brand new dishes. Alongside its new look, the resto is serving up Italian-American dishes, including the likes of Homemade Ravioli ($169) stuffed with made-from-scratch mozzarella and ricotta and topped with vodka sauce and spicy n’duja, a New York Striploin ($300) with a secret house sauce, and more

Emack & Bolio’s

Get set for the Easter weekend and enjoy free ice cream at our go-to for icy treats, Emack & Bolio’s! On Monday, 2 April only, the ice cream chain will be offering up buy-one-get-one on all chocolate ice cream cones sold. Not only that, but you’ll receive two pairs of fluffy bunny ears to have you ready for a seasonal Insta snap.

Mercato

Mercato is launching an enchanting new brunch menu available on weekends and public holidays. Expect tempting new creations like truffled croque madames ($168), lobster eggs Benedict ($228), and crispy chicken sandwiches ($198), and don’t forget to order the divine cinnamon sticky buns with cream cheese frosting ($98)! On the booze front, Mercato has got you covered with a two hour free-flow of either Bel Star Prosecco ($198) or Champagne Mumm ($258). There will be some new cocktails on offer too – so, why not try a Mercato Negroni ($108) or a Cucumber Martini ($148)?

JoJo

Recently revamped, JoJo curry house is now also serving up a tempting weekend brunch. Available on Saturdays and Sundays between 12pm and 2:30pm, the brunch is priced at just $168 per person, and includes a live chat counter, fresh salads, a range of starters, mains and desserts, along with rice and breads. With dishes such as Slow cooked Lamb, with onion, yoghurt and green chilis; Chicken drumsticks marinated overnight and stuffed with chicken mince and dried fruits; and Fresh spinach cooked with whole red chili and spices all included, it’s sure to be a hit! The brunch set features a variety of cocktails, the signature Indian tea sangria, mango daiquiris and house beer. Other options also include a variety of yogurt lassi’s, sodas and masala tea.

Red Sugar

Enjoy the perfect view of Hong Kong, along with sumptuous food and free-flow drinks at Red Sugar’s new Sunday brunch. Available from this weekend the brunch will be priced at $638 and will feature a selection of buffet appetisers and a choice of four main courses (including Seared Miso Cod and Braised Wagyu Beef Cheek), along with an enticing dessert display. Top it off with free-flow Veuve-Clicquot champagne, Aperol Spritz’s, a Guava, Mango and Peach Bellini station and a ‘Dress your own’ Bloody Mary station, and you’ve got yourself one cracking Sunday afternoon.

Cali-Mex Taqueria 1kg Burrito Eating Contest

Ever thought that eating could help you win a trip to California? Well, Cali-Mex Taqueria is somehow making it possible with the second consecutive year of the Burrito Showdown Eating Contest! If you want to join in the fun, sign up for the “Mex with Benefits” loyalty card and purchase a 1kg burrito in store. You can enter the draw until Thursday, 31 May, and then 15 draw winners will take part in a live eating contest held on Sunday, 10 June from 3pm to 4pm.
