Ya:Jang — Authentic Korean Grilled Meat With Charming Services

The latest Korean barbecue spot to hit Hong Kong, Ya:Jang, has gone viral for its 120-hour grilled meat offerings. The dinner set portions are quite generous, including appetizers, cold noodles, a plate of grilled meat, and either dumplings or steamed eggs. The mentaiko sauce on the grilled pork definitely deserves to be paired with soju! Certainly, the standout features are the delicious food and the lovely atmosphere, but we can’t resist raving about the charming Oppas who serve us! If you ask politely, they’ll happily take a picture with you (wink!).

Hanmat Korean BBQ Restaurant Unique Korean Barbecue Experience In Tsim Sha Tsui

Known for its Marinated Soy Sauce Crab, Hanmat also serves up Korean barbecue plus a grilling pot that requires no effort! Introducing the rotating pork belly BBQ lunch special starting from $288! The five-layer pork belly is a steal, plus this meal comes with soup, additional meat, vegetables and rice, so you’ll definitely leave stuffed. We affectionately call it the “lazy person meal” because you really don’t have to lift a finger! Just heat the pot, toss in all the meat and watch it fry itself.

Jeonpo Meat Shop Your Next Favourite Korean Barbecue Restaurant Chain

This place is already packed by 6pm, and if you arrive later, be prepared to wait in line — proof that this is the go-to spot for Korean barbecue! Each table has staff to help with grilling, so there’s no worry about overcooking! Order the grilled beef set, which isn’t particularly cheap, but the quality of the meat is to die for — just by grilling it, you can already smell the rich aroma. Don’t forget to add the overflowing steamed eggs as a side dish! The only downside is that the seating is quite packed and the smell tends to linger quite a bit, so you might want to opt for a different first date spot.
