But for the days when we don’t have a minute to spare but still want high-quality and healthy fare, there aren’t quite so many choices. Enter: GREAT Food Hall. A mainstay in Pacific Place for over a decade, the luxury supermarket has just unveiled a brand-new look.

We often pop into GREAT when we’re looking for brands that you can’t find elsewhere in the city, and now it’s offering more than ever before. Perfect for when we’re in a hurry and don’t have the time to go to multiple shops, GREAT has everything we need under one very spacious roof. The food hall’s new look is not only sleek, but the three new GREAT zones make shopping a breeze.

For those looking for fresh take away food, the “Be GREAT” Take-Away Zone and Fresh-Take-Home Zone tick all the boxes. Perfect for a quick lunch or dinner, the “Be GREAT” Take-Away Zone provides a huge variety of premium and freshly made take-away foods. From make-your-own salads, sushi and bento boxes, to handmade pasta and international cuisines, there’s something for all tastes. GREAT has also introduced veggie-friendly products from Green Common, including Omnipork spaghetti Bolognese and Omnipork meatballs.

Known as a premier international food hall, GREAT’s selection of worldwide delicacies is better than ever before with its new and improved “Be GREAT” Fresh-Take-Home Zone. The fresh meat counter now features premium pork and lamb from British famed meat merchant, The Ginger Pig. GREAT has also launched a free dry-ageing service. Seafood lovers are sure to be impressed with the carefully sourced and sustainable options available, including Australian seabass, Australian organic blue mussels, chilled Irish organic salmon and more.

What’s more, shopping at GREAT is set be even more of a breeze with its new Taste-to-Go app, which is launching soon. Busy customers can order and pay via the app, and simply collect their order at a time that suits.

And, as we’re always on the hunt for quality cheese, we’ll be making a beeline for GREAT’s new cheese room. Opening just in time for the festive season, the temperature-controlled room offers over 200 of the world’s finest cheeses.

The supermarket has also gathered over 12,000 specialist products, including 2,000 exclusive brands from around the globe at the new “Be GREAT!” FMCG Zone. Those looking for a taste of home will be able to shop international products, including health-led brands such as America’s famed Bob’s Red Mill, exclusive UK organic brand Waitrose Duchy, and France’s Casino Bio. GREAT is also encouraging us all to be a little more eco-friendly as the first Hong Kong supermarket to offer refills for laundry and personal care liquids at its new refill station by New Zealand’s Ecostore.
