Dreaming of a red and green Christmas

This post is in honor of a friend who hates that over the years red and green has had to make room for new colours when it comes to decorating and attire at Christmas time.

Long gone are the traditional red and green decorations and in its place are sparkly purples and pinks mixed in with silver and gold. I have fallen prey to Christmas decorating based on my home decor but it is so nice to come back to old traditions by celebrating the holidays surrounded by a sea of red and green.
 

Hope this board inspired even non-traditionalists to bring back a little bit of green and red this holiday season….
