Great Layering Pieces from Free People

I’m not sure how many times I’ve had to discard an outfit idea because I can’t find the perfect tank/slip/tube top to pop underneath it. I have a bad habit of buying very see-through, floaty, gauzy things which then get pushed to the back of the wardrobe because I never buy those practical “foundation” garments we’re all supposed to own. That’s why I love Free People’s new Layering range, which is full of useful items which are also inspiring enough to shell out for.

Please don’t think I’m advocating wearing any of these items on their own! I can imagine the pink bandeau slipped under a semi-sheer shirt, or under a dress where the armholes are a little too large and you’d potentially see a flash of bra instead. The bottom little cropped top bra would look sweet under a baggy tank, or peeking from the neckline of a low-cut dress. I especially like the leggings in the second image as they’d add a cute and sexy twist to an all black outfit.

Best of all, Free People actually ship to Hong Kong! The only downside is the US$35 they slap on each shipment, so it would be worth stocking up in bulk!
