You’re Invited: Sassy Talks Business at Garage Society!

4 March, 2015

Here in Hong Kong we’re lucky to be surrounded by people who have set up their own businesses, followed their dreams and started their own projects. It’s hard not to be inspired when you’re living in a place that has such an entrepreneurial spirit! If you’ve ever thought about taking the leap and starting up your own business, then you can’t miss our ‘Sassy Talks Business’ event on Wednesday, 11 March!

Sassy Talks Business is for girls who want to make their passion their profession, and we’ve got three exceptional women to give us some inside tips and tricks. Our very own Maura Thompson, Founder of Sassy Media Group will be on hand to talk about how she took a chance and made her dream a reality, turning a small blog into a media company in four countries. Founder of Garage Society (a community platform for entrepreneurs), Elaine Tsung, will offer advice on how to turn a passion into a fruitful business, starting with a clear vision and supporting tech-start-ups. And last but not least, Willo O’Brien will be there to provide her expert tips on what to look for when starting up your own business – learn from the pros!

This is your chance to gain some insights into the reality of starting your own business. You’ll be able to ask your own questions too in the Q&A as you munch on delicious refreshments from the pasta pros at il Matterello – think potato and porcini mushroom homemade pasta and delicious spinach fettuccine, yum! Wash it down with their homemade chocolate liquor or a glass of red or white vino from 8th Estate Winery.

If this sounds like an event that you don’t want to miss, then make sure you buy your ticket ASAP as there are a limited number available… see you there!
