From cool rooftop spots to tucked away speakeasies, we’re telling you where to go to get a taste of the best Pisco cocktails this season.

It’s not like we need an extra excuse to enjoy a drink after a long week at work, but this summer, Pisco is encouraging us all to get out there and enjoy a taste of Peru with its Pisco Nights campaign. Taking place every weekend from now until the end of September, you can look forward to trying new and inventive Pisco cocktails at a range of locations across the city. From cool rooftop spots and tucked away speakeasies, to Polynesian-inspired cocktails bars, there are plenty of places across Hong Kong island that will be offering up their own take on Pisco over the next three months. Need a little inspiration? We got an early taster for ourselves so can let you know what a few of the bars will be serving.

If you’re feeling tropical, don’t miss out on Honi Honi Tiki Cocktail Lounge’s creation. The El Pisco Piña ($80) will be available at the bar until the end of August, and will feature a delightful mix of Pisco Quebranta, lime juice, fresh pineapple, orange rum and fresh pepper.

Available from now until Monday, 30 September, CÉ LA VI will be serving its take on a Pisco Highball ($148). Head up to its rooftop oasis to enjoy this light and refreshing cocktail – made with a blend of Pisco Quebranta, St-Germain Liqueur, lemon juice, fresh raspberries and soda water – it’s sure to help you beat the summer heat.

And if you want to avoid the crowds of LKF, head to The Old Man, SoHo’s sophisticated, Hemingway-inspired speakeasy (which currently holds the top spot on Asia’s Best Bar list for 2019!). From Thursday, 1 August you’ll be able to get your hands on a classic Pisco Sour ($120), and when expert mixologist Agung Prabowo is behind the bar, make sure to ask for The Green Hills of Africa #1935 ($120). Inspired by the Hemingway novel of the same name which includes rosemary-infused Pisco Quebranta, turmeric and tamarind cordial, lemon and lime juice.

Along with these three bars, a selection of other Hong Kong favourites will also be serving special Pisco drinks for you to enjoy. The line-up currently includes the likes of ICHU, Foxglove, The Coffee Academics, Dragonfly, Tokyolima, The Sea By The Old Man, Aftermath, Aqua Spirit and more, but check back in on Facebook to keep up to date when more bars are announced!
