The Artist House

Just opened in Causeway Bay, The Artist House is brought to us by the brains behind craft brewery, The Artist. The cool and softly-lit venue is complete with a bar (offering a selection of craft beers, fine artisan spirits, craft beer cocktails and other unique artisan beverages), an innovative coffee shop (serving farm to cup coffees, cold brews, coffee based drinks and pastries), along with a hydroponic farm and a micro-brewerywhere guests can tailor make their own infused beer!

Chachawan

Available all month at Chachawan, the “Thai Landscape” ($88) is a light and refreshing mix of Hendricks gin, rosewater, cucumber cordial, dry vermouth and purple orchids. The perfect antidote to the spicy Thai cuisine.

Mrs. Pound, Dr. Fern’s Gin Parlour, and Foxglove

Throughout the month of March, five limited-edition Art Basel cocktails will be available across the bars at Mrs. Pound, Foxglove and Dr. Fern’s Gin Parlour. On offer at Mrs. Pound is the Van Gogh x Louis Vuitton ($120), an ode to the collaboration between the iconic post-impressionist painter, Vincent van Gogh, and one of the world’s most revered luxury fashion house, Louis Vuitton. A creative reinvention of Van Gogh’s most famous art piece, “Sunflowers”, the cocktail is served in a miniature flowerpot, and features a garnish of a small, chrysanthemum bouquet attached to the straw. With cocktail creations also available at Foxglove and Dr. Fern’s Gin Parlour, head to the bars to check them out now before they go!

TokyoLima

Around for one week only (between Monday, 19 and Saturday, 24 March), the Tokyo Batido ($100) is the latest sweet and quirky concoction being served up at TokyoLima. Served in tall glass with a paper straw, the cotton candy pink elixir features a blend of Capucana whiskey, coconut water, lime juice, agave and fresh strawberries topped with rose lemonade.

Commissary

Named after the famous painting by American artist Mark Rothko, Commissary’s new cocktail offering is the Orange, Red, Yellow, Yellow Over Red ($88). Consisting of Bulleit Bourbon, Aperol, peach liqueur and orange juice, the colourful drink is sure to give you a spring in your step!

Pirata

Indulge this Easter, with Pirata’s new cocktail, around for just one weekend only (from Friday, 31 March to Monday, 2 April). Via Lattea ($90) – meaning “milk way” in Italian is a tempting mix of chocolate milk, dark rum, cacao liqueur, along with a dash of Amaretto and sweet potato powder. We can see this one going down a treat at the end of your meal!

Commissary

Another special from Commissary this month is molten Aztec Hot Chocolate. Giving your traditional hot choccie a grown-up twist, the seasonal special is a blend of Ancho Reyes, Cynar, cinnamon, dark chocolate and textured milk. Enjoy it hot or cold, just make sure to head down for happy hour (between 4:30pm and 8:30pm, daily), where it will be priced at $70 (regular price $100).

Beefbar

Feel like treating yourself for the end of the week? Beefbar has just launched a brand new weekly happy hour, Sparkling Thursdays. Welcome in the weekend a little with live DJ and unlimited boutique bubbles for just $390 per person for three-hours free-flow (between 5pm and 8pm). Can’t make it on a Thursday? The daily happy hour runs from 5pm to 8pm, and features a sommelier selected collection of fine wines, craft spirits and imported beers!
