What's On HK

Charity Yoga Class to Support the HK Breast Cancer Foundation

Many people go to yoga to find some peace within themselves but on Sunday 18 October Pure Yoga and Zobha are encouraging you to practice to help fight Breast Cancer.

Wendy Wyvill, who is one of my favourite yoga teachers, will be leading a Vinyasa flow class to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The class is open to the public so you do not have to be a Pure member to attend and all levels are welcome. Below are the details for the class:

Date: Sunday 18 October

Time: 3:00-5:30pm

Location: Pure Yoga Central, (16/f The Centrium, 60 Wyndham Street)

Cost: Minimum Donation of HK$300

Registration: Pre-registration is required. Contact any Pure Yoga studio

I attended last year’s class and it was amazing. The class was completely full (more than 100 people attended!) so I suggest that you register as soon as you can since spaces book up fast.

For me, it was so wonderful to practice in such a large group setting and what was so special is that everyone was there for 1 common goal – to help fight this horrible disease that impacts so many wonderful women each year.

Each person that attends will be given a Breast Health gift set from the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation and a yoga top from Zobha (valued at HK$450). If you haven’t heard of Zobha, they are a yoga and fitness clothing line that looks and feels amazing. I am in love with their Grace top (I got the pink Grace top at this class last year) and it looks great both on and off the yoga mat.

All donations will support the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation.
