Discover upcoming highlights from the fourth edition of the Asia+ Festival, featuring cross-cultural percussion and contemporary acrobatics this November…
Autumn in Hong Kong is a strange limbo: the weather is technically shifting, but between sudden heatwaves and lingering humidity, we’re definitely not out of the woods yet. That weather purgatory usually has us defaulting to the same indoor habits — namely, scrolling through our phones and saving a dozen aesthetic cultural events on Instagram (that we never actually book), then settling for another routine round of dinner and drinks.
If you want to break that cycle and trade your screen time for an actual in-person experience, the fourth edition of the Asia+ Festival is taking place from Wednesday, 23 September to Sunday, 29 November, 2026, with a lineup that makes it worth turning on airplane mode. Running under the theme “Traditions Recast,” the festival focuses on how contemporary artists reinterpret traditional practices, with plenty of exciting events on the calendar.
