The weekend is here, so why not spend your Saturday enjoying the warmer weather at the HK Beach 5s or dancing the day (and night!) away at Sónar? Plus, there’s only one more week to go until The Sevens, so get yourself set, girls, with the festivities kicking off at Chater Garden next week!

 HKSEVENS Central Party at Chater Garden 

We’re counting down the days until this year’s Rugby Sevens, so we were more than excited to hear that this time, The Hong Kong Rugby Union is kicking off the festivities early! Starting from Monday, 3 April, Chater Garden will be transformed into a mini Hong Kong Stadium, with a purpose-built rugby pitch, rugby skills games, competitions and official merchandise booths. For the entire week, it’s sure to be the place to hang, with live action streamed on to the big screens, along with food and beverage booths from the likes of Chino, MercatoGood BBQ and Marriott International Hotels. Love food and drink? Make sure to also download the HKSEVENS app, to get involved and to have access to exclusive discounts at bars and restaurants all over town!

Hailed as “The Glastonbury Festival of the electronic music world,” Hong Kong’s debut of the music and arts festival is a must for this weekend, girls! Look forward to a mix of established artists and hotly tipped emerging talents, along with live DJs, dance-floor-driven sets, and a programme of forward-thinking workshops, talks and interactive activities.

The Hong Kong Beach 5s

After a year’s absence, The Hong Kong Beach 5s is back (and bigger and better than ever!) this weekend to celebrate its sixth anniversary. As well as the sporting action, expect a carnival atmosphere, with a live DJ, a wide variety of food and beverages and some of Hong Kong’s best loved lifestyle brands. Once the sun goes down, there will also be the Official After Party at The Pulse, with free flow drinks, live music and incredible beach views!
