You’re Invited: Sassy’s Belgian Sunday with beer tasting and unlimited moules and frites

We’re all about lazy Sundays here at Sassy… so we’ve decided to cut out the middleman and organise our own! So come join us for Sassy’s Belgian Sunday on 9 March from 3-5pm, at new Soho eaterie de België!

Delicious Belgian beers on tap… unlimited moules and frites… fantastic company with a gang of your best girl and guy friends – sounds like Sunday afternoon perfection! And we’ve already given de België the Sassy seal of approval (from one of our half-Belgian bloggers, no less!); check out our full review here.

de België boasts over 150 kinds of awesome Belgian beer – with blonde, brown, Trappist, fruity, chocolate and champagne options (and just about everything in-between!). Getting decision fatigue already? No worries – as with Sassy’s Belgian Sunday, you’ll get to try five fantastic beers (including Sassy’s fave, the delish cherry flavoured Kasteel Rouge) hand-picked by the de België team for your tasting pleasure. There’s no pretentious sniffing, swirling and sniffing here; simply the chance to kick back with a few fine tipples in de België’s relaxed and cosy atmosphere, and decide on your favourite!

Of course, we’ve arranged some nibbles to go with your drinks… and yes, the rumours are true – unlimited frites, baby! Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside… we’re already calculating quite how many batches we’ll be able to pack away on the day! Still hungry? Then let’s add some unlimited baby mussel amuse bouche to the mix! These Belgian specialties have been marinated with chilli, garlic and vinegar and will be served in individual bottles… yum!

All this for only $200 a head, for two whole hours of good food, good drinks, and good times!
