Alexander Wang Bootcut Leggings

We’ve all attempted the leggings look and even thought about jeggings.  For me leggings are difficult to wear.  I feel like the tight fit against my skin only accentuates the “curves” that I prefer to mask and disguise.  If I do wear leggings I always try to pair them with a super baggy top or even a dress attempting to conceal my upper thighs.  I’ve always admired how great some girls look in their skinny jeans and leggings, but I’ve come to accept  that this second skin look  just doesn’t flatter my figure.

Alexander Wang has created ribbed Bootcut Leggings which excite me because  I know this a look that will balance my figure with the wider ankle instead of the traditional tapered fit. The great thing about Wang’s Bootcut Leggings is they seem to be simple to wear either dressed up for a night out on the town or casual for running errands during the day.

While I’m loving the design, I’m not loving the $295USD price tag.  I’m sure in due time we’ll see cheaper versions of this trend popping up.
