I have an addiction and I am finally coming clean with it. It may have already been obvious to my friends and family but I am finally admitting it to myself and to the world. I, Sabrina Sikora, am an accessory-holic! This addiction has gripped me for years and I fear there may be no cure and now that The9thMuse has opened, I fear that I may never be freed from the hold of these dazzling decorations. Let’s take a look at what will surely be my ultimate demise!
The9thMuse opened earlier this year in a tricky location above Lyndhurst Terrace but once you know where it is you will crawl back credit card in hand time and time again to get your fix! Co-founders Jing Zhang and Charlotte Hwang have filled this store with incredible accessories from 27 different brands including Nicole Richie’s House Of Harlow 1960, Candace Ang, A Peace Treaty and Sassy faves Edge Of Ember!
There are jewels galore and they don’t stop there, with handbags, scarves and sunglasses too… you simply cannot leave empty handed! There are even heavenly scented hand creams and candles to relax you back down from the euphoric rush that you are sure to encounter!
As you enter there are cases in every direction showing the latest and greatest! If you like long dangly earrings you are in luck as The9thMuse has several gorgeous options to choose from.

Seeing as I am an advanced jewellery shopper, I immediately gravitated to the larger items that I know are hard to find in other stores. This body armour necklace made me weak in the knees; I could see this draped over a basic LBD for dinner out. It would even be perfect with a tank, skinny jeans and a leather jacket casually layered on top!
But my favourite item, the real show-stopper, was the 14k gold nail ring with serpent detailing by Bijules. OH-EM-GEE!!!! Once I put it on I found it very difficult to take off. It kept whispering my name and begging me to take it home. I resisted as best I could but I swear I can still hear my name float faintly in the wind as I walk along Lyndhurst!
A much easier accessory to justify is a pair of House of Harlow sunnies. Summer is already upon us (in-between the storms) and you need to be prepared… so what better excuse to pick up a pair or three of these gorgeous girly glasses!
