If you need an excuse to get out this weekend, we have plenty! Look ahead to the incredible events in store for International Women’s Day or celebrate fine art and fine food. Battle it out for burgers and shakes at Burger Circus, but make sure you’re still feeling 100% on Sunday for the New Territories Ghost Tour, or to enjoy brunch at La Vache! March in the 852 not only brings with it the promise of spring, but it also signals the beginning of Art Month. So, if you want to get out there and get cultural (whilst enjoying some delicious food in some of your fave restos!), we have just the thing for you. For the second year, LKF Group presents the Savouring Art and Exhibitions campaign, with 12 amazing restaurants in LKF and California Tower, each creating their own artistic dishes and cocktails. Inspirational women and wine? Need we say anymore, girls? Get your tickets now for this incredible and empowering event, which combines a tasting with a panel of amazing female speakers, including Hong Kong’s most successful hospitality entrepreneurs and restaurateurs, powerhouses and key industry leaders and trendsetters. Jukebox Battle at Burger Circus

Go all out Americana this weekend and get down to celebrate Burger Circus’ second birthday! Round up your music loving friends for an afternoon of music competitions alongside the restaurant’s greatest food hits. Watch out though, girls, while music-buffs will be rewarded with burgers, onion rings and milkshakes, the tone-deaf will be asked to move on!

Ghost Villages of New Territories

Do you believe in ghosts? Leave modern civilisation behind and join Adventure Tours on a 9 kilometre hike visiting some of Hong Kong’s most remote settlements. The villages, which are now abandoned and reclaimed by nature, are creepy and cool all at the same time. See the traditional Hakka-style houses, former army barracks, and great views over tranquil Double Haven. If you see a ghost, let us know! The walk ends in Lai Chi Wo with a traditional pun choi lunch, before you can enjoy a relaxing ferry ride back home.

Where: Meet at Fanling MTR station, and take taxi to Luk Keng where the hike begins.
