Rain, rain, go away (and don’t come again another day!). Cure those rainy day blues by kicking off your cowgirl boots and downing a couple of pints at the epic ‘Wild West’ themed Lan Kwai Fong Beer and Music Fest, or indulge in some retail therapy at round two of the eclectic Hollywood Road Market at The Space. Wild, wild west!
It’s that time of the year again – yep, our favourite place to eat, drink and be merry is hosting the annual Lan Kwai Fong Beer and Music Fest! Grab your cowgirl boots and a whole lot of stamina, because the theme this year is the wild, wild West. Expect the streets to be filled with over 60 wagon and saloon-themed stalls, dotted with cacti and of course packed with gallons of golden beer and delicious food! Chow down on Brazilian grilled meat and fried rice, Peking Duck Rolls, Mexican tacos, Japanese BBQ skewers, German sausages and hotdogs, burgers and more while sipping on a pint of cold beer… there are more than 200 different varieties to choose from! Beerfest will include well-known craft beer from all around the world, so you’ll be spoilt for choice. And if that’s not enough to tempt you, there will also be a tantalising Wild West dance show, a beer drinking contestshooting games and live music all day. Phew! This is definitely the party to be at, so make sure you save a space in your diary!

When: Saturday, 8 August – Sunday, 9 August, 1pm till late
Where: Lan Kwai Fong, Central, Hong Kong

If you missed it last time, you’re in luck, because the Hollywood Road Market is back! This time it’s even bigger and better, with many more vendors and a great venue at The Space. Browse goodies from local Hong Kong designers and artisans including what the frock?!, PhatRice, Māzŭ Swimwear, Umami Concepts and more. From the latest fashion trends to homemade sweets and treats, there’s plenty for you to try and taste at this popular pop-up! We’ll see you there with shopping bags in tow…

Sunset YogaSunday sunset yoga
The constant summer parties, junks and BBQs are so much fun, but after a while they wear you out! Take a minute to re-energise this Sunday with a sunset yoga sesh down at Sun Yat Sen Park. Yoga masters Charlotte Johnston and Adam Weirick are teaming up with Fomo Eyewear and Just Yogis for three of these special sessions so that one lucky participant can win unlimited yoga classes along with discounts and promotions on their awesome yoga-wear. This is the perfect way to unwind before the working week… ohmmmmm.

Craving some good ol’ Southern Fried Chicken? One of our fave contemporary Chinese restos, Ho Lee Fook, is hosting a one-night only pop-up with Belles Hot Chicken. Chef Morgan McGlone has flown all the way from Melbourne to bring some of his signature fried chicken goodness to our city, so if you’re a fan of this comfort dish then be sure not to miss it. There will be delectable sides, mouthwatering Southern fare and a soda or Victoria Bitter beer for everyone who attends. Just make sure you come with an appetite!

When: Sunday, 26 July, 6pm
Where: Ho Lee Fook, 1 Elgin Street, Soho, Hong Kong
How much: $350 per person including a soda or Victoria Bitter. No bookings, so get there early!
