Hong Kong isn’t exactly known for its lively stand-up circuit yet the 5^th Annual Comedy Festival is aiming to put us on the map for laughs! Headlined by Comedy Central’s Butch Bradley and with over 40 comedians entering the fray to fight it out in the HK International Comedy Competition. Beats sitting at home with a Michael McIntyre DVD, right?!

Sangria anyone?!
What better way to celebrate Spanish National Day than with a trip to one of our favourite tapas joints in town, Tapeo? Relive the 80s
Get out the legwarmers and shoulder-pads – it’s time to revisit the 80s, as synth-pop pioneers The Human League perform their first concert in HK, for one night only! In addition to tracks from new album Credo, you can expect plenty of the old favourites that had you singing along into your hairbrushes. All together now – ‘I was working as a waitress in a cocktail bar…’

See some spots at Polkadot
We are seeing polkadots everywhere this season and even Staunton Street is getting in on the dot craze. Here at Sassy, we love a good rom-com and Friends With Benefits looks like it might tick all our boxes. The title is pretty self-explanatory (safe to say those benefits are a little steamier than going round to borrow a cup of sugar) and it sounds like a raunchier version of No Strings Attached, which we also loved. Plus who can resist the chance to drool over the super-sexy Justin Timberlake… or come to that matter, the even sexier Mila Kunis?!
