Can you believe Christmas is only a week away? OK, we promise to stop mentioning it now! Here’s hoping all your Christmas shopping is on track and that your festive holidays are set to go with a bang… but in the meantime, here’s a few fun things to keep you busy until the big day itself.

Get yourself an advent treat from Classified
Everyone loves a free gift, especially a festive one. Visit Classified’s twinkling online advent calendar everyday to reveal a daily treat to be redeemed at their pop-up store in The Landmark. Simply click the link, download the voucher and swing by the store. The first 20 people to drop in with the voucher today will receive a beautiful wooden tree decoration. And once you’re there pick up some indulgent but delicious festive foodie treats. We’re not sure if this is genius or madness… but the very first SantaCon Hong Kong is coming your way. Following on from the uber-successful SantaCon NYC, it’s ‘a non-denominational, non-commercial, non-political and non-sensical Santa Claus convention that occurs once a year for absolutely no reason’… basically an excuse to dress up as Santa, parade merrily through the streets of Hong Kong and bring a dose of festive cheer to all!

Hot new bar alert
Central’s got another hip new venue to add to your bar crawl! Eivissa aims to bring a touch of Ibiza to the 852, with a laidback fun vibe and DJ Patrice spinning the decks from 9pm onwards. There’ll also be Mediterranean-inspired nibbles and champagne happy hours from 5-8pm daily, offering Charles-Le-Bel bubbly at $80 per glass or $480 per bottle, plus 30% off the rest of the drinks menu too. Here’s hoping some of Eivissa’s specially created tropical cocktails will warm our wintry hearts!

Get sporty
Since it’s unlikely we’re going to see any real snow in HK, the ski slopes at new indoor sports centre PLAY might just be the next best thing! PLAY boasts two indoor dry ski slopes for you to practice your skiing and snowboarding moves, plus baseball and softball batting cages and pitching lanes for those who like their sports in warmer environments! All ages and levels of experience are catered for, plus there’s a nifty little coffee shop on-site to recharge your batteries after.
