We’ve hit the ground running in 2016 and we don’t know about you, but we need to chill out for minute. Okay, yes we have just had a holiday, but that’s besides the point. We need a weekend to get it together, recompose ourselves and attend a few (marginally) laid-back events before setting off at a million miles again. The Hong Kong rat race is real.

Known for his fast tongue and motor mouth style of spitting lyrics, Demolition Man (aka Ras Demo) is brewing up a storm with his heavy sound system and reggae jungle dancehall mashups. If you’re keen for a combo of chilled out reggae, but don’t fancy skipping a party all together, this one’s for you! Sofa Club Anniversary Bash
Okay, so perhaps this one’s not so laid-back, but the club’s name kind of fits the bill! Join Premium Sofa Club to celebrate their second anniversary on the HK clubbing scene with a weekend-long party. Unwind with a few cheeky beverages – it’s free-flow after all – and get loose on the dance floor to a host of guest DJs. Cheers to the weekend!

Italian Sky Garden Cinema
We’re mad for a rooftop cinema here in Hong Kong, and with our incredible skyline, why wouldn’t we be? And what better way to unwind after a stressful first week back at work than by enjoying an outdoor cinema! Hosted by both Hushup Events and Superga, this Saturday (and every other Saturday in January), The Sky Rooftop Garden is the place to be, with three classic Italian films being the centrepiece of these cool, winter nights. From The Godfather to Gladiator, grab a ticket and settle in for the evening. Come mingle early for a complimentary cocktail at Jinjuu HK before the movie starts and pick up a goodie bag filled with Italian treats! Bellissimo!
