We hear whispers…

…that Topshop is currently scouting for sites in Causeway Bay to open a store! So far the only store in Asia is in Singapore, and it’s a poor show if we’re honest – a few odds and ends in strange sizes, lots of empty space, and some broken jewellery… nothing like the hallowed halls of Topshop Oxford Circus in London, which for me was a favourite shopping destination back when I lived in the UK. If you’ve never heard of Topshop, it’s the UK’s favourite high street fashion store, priced around the same level as Zara, but far more fun and daring. 

In recent years they’ve begun shipping to Europe and the US, and opened a flagship store in New York, so seems like the time is right (apart from that tricky little issue of the economy) to expand further into the world. 

In the meantime (as well as keeping our fingers crossed), we can content ourselves with Kate Moss’s range at Lane Crawford in Pacific Place and Canton Road.
