Ho Lee Fook is one of Black Sheep Restaurants‘ new establishments and is now a firm dining favourite in the trendy Soho area. Chef Jowett Yu leads the kitchen, creating some of the best contemporary Chinese food in the ‘Kong. The funky fusion dishes are always cooked to perfection and blend traditional flavours that we all know and love with exciting, modern twists, and this new summer cocktail does exactly the same thing! The Yakult Gin Fizz takes a Hong Kong childhood staple and transforms it into a unique drink with an adult edge. A classic Spanish bodega in the middle of Wan Chai… who can say no! Ryan Nightingale, a Diageo’s World Class 2015 bartending contender, brings to you a new cocktail only suited to sip in Hong Kong. The refreshing and fruity ‘Typhoon Warning’ is the kind of summer cocktail is perfect for knocking back when those pesky tropical storms blow in. It even comes with your very own typhoon cautionary leaflet that’s sure to blow you away (literally)! The Spanish styled tiling and clean stainless steel interiors at Ham & Sherry create a moody atmosphere which perfectly complements this creative cocktail.

Well-known mixologist Antonio Lai has adopted a food science approach to make sure that Quinary has some of the best cocktails in HK! To satisfy your five senses, he’s created the new ‘Gummy Bear’ cocktail, which is served of course with one of these little sweeties on top. This drink certainly packs a punch and will delight those of you with a sweet tooth! Why we love it!
We have to admit that The Envoy is home to one of our fave roof top bars in the city. The colonial style bar and terrace area is the perfect place to enjoy local mixologist Antonio Lai and Amanda Wan’s latest creations. Our pick from the summer selection is the ‘Early Bird’ cocktail, ideal for a sipping on as the sun sets. The tropical, fruity flavours are presented in an elegant bird-shaped glass… that’s an Instagram worthy cocktail if ever we saw one!

Princess Jasmine at Chachawan

What’s in it?
A refreshing mix of gin, Jasmine tea, lemon juice, mint, and pomegranate… mmmm.

Why we love it!
Chachawan is one of our favourites when it comes to Thai dining in HK. The restaurant serves delicious dishes that originate from the northeastern Thai province of Issan, which include perfectly grilled meats and fish along with punchy salads. Tunny Grattidge’s collection of cocktails focuses on using Asian ingredients, which perfectly complement the flavours on your plate. We’ve got our eye on the ‘Princess Jasmine’, which has floral notes from the sweet jasmine tea and that signature Thai sweet and sour kick from the lime and pomegranate. The cooling mint makes this cocktail the ideal bevvie to sip on this summer!

This cocktail is fit for a queen with a royal mix of Hendrick’s Gin, sake, green tea and lime-juice.

Why we love it!
Ozu was voted one of our favourite new bars last year and their cocktails never fail to impress. Green tea is a must when it comes to being healthy… so who says you shouldn’t enjoy it with a little kick? The ‘Kyu’ brings together this invigorating tea with Japanese sake and is served in a cute glass teapot with theatrical dry ice.
