Style Party at Varga Lounge – Wednesday 17 November

11 November, 2010

About a year and a half ago when we were all in a fashion rut we got a few friends together for a style party. We invited the lovely ladies from Colour Me Beautiful, who are experts in making their clients go from totally drab to extremely fab with a few simple changes. The focus of our evening was finding the right colours for our skintone and then using those colours in our makeup and wardrobe selections. I totally love this sort of thing so it was right my alley and while it pained me to learn that I probably shouldn’t wear black it was so helpful to see the wide range of colours that work on someone with warm tones like me.

I am not sure if it is the fact that my birthday is coming up but lately I have been realizing that as you get older you kind of have to pay more attention to the best ways to enhance your natural beauty and I personally think the easiest way to do that is by choosing colours that suit you best. So, in a frenzy to maintain the signs of youthfulness in my appearance I have been on a spending spree of all things cream, brown and green in an effort to stop the aging clock. I am pretty sure the clock is still ticking but my appearance is hopefully going to start looking as youthful as ever (fingers are totally crossed on this one!)

On Wednesday 17 November Colour Me Beautiful and Varga Lounge will be hosting a transformational Girls’ Night Out event which will help show you how to enhance your personal style. Colour Me Beautiful consultants Elise Weber (Colour Analyst) and Veena Dansinghani (makeup expert) will start the night off at 7:30 with a talk about the psychology of colours and one-on-one consultations will follow until 10pm.

Varga’s own in house tarot card reader will also be giving complimentary love consultations so make sure you come with a love question or two!

To rsvp for this event email [email protected]. I am sure spaces may now be limited so make sure you RSVP soon to reserve your spot.
