Monki is coming to Hong Kong

27 July, 2010

This super-quirky fashion and lifestyle brand (owned by H&M) will be launching in Hong Kong in September, and we can expect the first store to be just next door to H&M’s Langham Place shop in Mong Kok. Combining Tokyo street style with crisp Scandinavian fashion sense, we’re loving the current Summer 2010 collection! Monki was launched in 2006, and there are currently 43 shops in Europe.

The little black characters you can see on the lookbook images are “Monkis”, who exist in Monki World and have wild adventures with origami birds, turbine flowers and mysterious chemicals. Ummm…. ok then!

The clothes are reasonably priced and the line is created for for girls who want to express their individuality and imagination through what they wear. Check out the Monki website if you’re curious to learn more, and we’ll keep you posted about the store opening!
