Manolo Valdés Solo Exhibition

In support of this year’s International Women’s Day, Opera Gallery has teamed up with Manolo Valdés to host the Spanish artist’s solo exhibition. You’ll find traces of Valdés’ manifestation of female empowerment in various art forms. Guests can look forward to a showcase of the strength, intelligence and beauty of all women. We promise this female-focused exhibition will leave you both visually captivated and intellectually stimulated!

JIA Presents International Women's Day

"Cook for a Good Cause" Charity Dinner at TATE Dining Room

Art+Feminism: Wikipedia Edit-a-thon

Back for its fifth edition in support of International Women’s Day, this Wikipedia Edit-a-thon aims to improve the representation of women. The workshop is dedicated to discussing, creating and improving Wikipedia articles about female artists and practitioners. Previous participants have already added to, or improved, 99 articles. International Women's Day At Uma Nota

Women's Five Run

The Women’s Five is back with another race, so it’s time to get sweaty! Though not dedicated to International Women’s Day per se, we love its celebration of female strength and support. With two run options (5km or 10km), there’s definitely something for everyone, no matter your fitness level. And as an added bonus, part of the proceeds from the race will be donated to Rainlily, one of the city’s most notable anti-sexual violence organisations.

If you’re looking for additional guidance (and that extra push!), don’t forget to check out its fitness programme. Specifically designed to prepare you for the race, the five-week programme includes run meetups, HIIT classes, yoga sessions and more. Teams of two are also welcome, so why not make it a team effort and enlist your closest girlfriend?
