Festival Walk

15 April, 2010

Of course we all know that Hong Kong is known as being one of the world’s greatest shopping destinations, with options like ifc mall, Pacific Place and Landmark which are filled with every possible high-end designer name you can think of like Prada, Gucci and Louis Vuitton. If the mall doesn’t do it for you there are always the street lanes which are filled with surprises at such an affordable price you don’t even have to think twice about purchasing. The only thing missing are the medium priced shops that carry good quality clothing at a reasonable price. We enjoy shops like H&M and Zara, but we don’t love being spotted in the same outfit as someone else when we’re out and about, which brings me to the reason I absolutely love shopping at Festival Walk in Kowloon Tong.

Festival Walk is huge, sprawling across 1 million square feet  with over 200 shops and 27 restaurants.  In fact, the mall’s slogan is “Fun for Everyone!”  Oh, and they are also home to Hong Kong’s largest ice skating rink and a movie theater. Beyond the size and the fact that you could literally spend an entire day there ice skating, movie watching and eating….it is the stores that keep me going back.

I get to shop for me here:

I can buy things for home from:

Maybe find something for him at places like:

Finally a quick stop here for some groceries:

Seriously there are too many fab finds to write about here, so be sure to check out Festival Walk sometime!
