Seated with Strangers: Ethnic Minority Community Arts & Culture Festival At Eaton
In commemoration of the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, Eaton HK and local community, belonging will present a series of immersive workshops under the theme of 「搭檯」(daap toi) – which means eating while seated with strangers.
The event will feature guest speakers, exhibitions with digital stories, film screening of Fallen Leaves, Broken Lighters – an independently financed anthology feature film made by 7 local indie filmmakers in Hong Kong – and a poetry workshop led by TEDx speaker, poet, and author of upcoming book Strength from Within, Sa’diyya Nesar. And there’s more! Join a zine-making workshop and an open mic to spill the tea and share your passion and work.
