Look Left Look Right: Historical Signage

Editor’s Note: The situation in Hong Kong regarding closures and restrictions on opening hours due to the coronavirus is constantly evolving. At the moment, social distancing regulations are in place for various businesses in Hong Kong, so please make sure you follow the latest government advice. It is also a good idea to check via the events website/Social Media pages to see if there are any last minute changes to this event and that you are aware of any restrictions they have put in place.

Let your eyes guide you through Tai Kwun’s new exhibition Look Left Look Right: Historical Signage, which retraces the compound’s history with a focus on old signs that occupied the walls of the historic Central Police Station until its decommissioning in 2006.

If you’re there on a weekend, you can book in a 20-minute guided tour with a former staff member or expert in signage research and conservation. Take a sneak peek of the exhibition via an interactive Signage Journey before your visit.
