Maximal Concepts has got you covered over the festive period with special Christmas menus on offer at its restaurants.

It’s that time of year when, love it or loathe it, it’s impossible to escape the Christmas displays and decorations popping up around the city. But that also means some of our favourite restaurants are producing festive menus to tantalise our taste buds. Here’s a breakdown of some of the options on offer from Maximal Concepts to share with your nearest and dearest.

They say if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! That’s exactly why, following on from its popularity last year, Blue • Butcher and Meat Specialist has chosen to once again offer a semi-deboned free range Hunter Valley turkey as the centrepiece of its Christmas feast. This year the delicious trimmings on offer include homemade stuffing and roasted garlic mashed potatoes. The meal begins with Blue’s signature cornbread, and dessert is a toffee pumpkin pie.

Date: From Monday 26 November to Tuesday, 25 December
Price: Dine in $650 per person (minimum 4 guests). All turkeys must be ordered 48 hours in advance. Only limited portions are served each day.

Limewood also features turkey at the heart of its menu. The bird is seasoned with an achiote marinade and served with sides including fried potatoes with coriander and lime aioli, and roasted kale with deep-fried garlic and shallots. The meal kicks off with Limewood cornbread and, the dessert offering of sweet potato rum pie served with cinnamon rum ice cream certainly has us intrigued.

The Flying Elk Maximal Concepts Christmas Menus Scoop

The Flying Elk has chosen to adopt a traditional Swedish theme to show off Nordic ingredients for its first Christmas in Hong Kong. It’s offering a 4-course menu which kicks off with a herring starter. The restaurant has swapped out the more traditional turkey course for a meatball main served with mashed potatoes, pickled cucumber and lingonberries. And if you still have room, their chocolate, cinnamon and clove mousse sounds like the perfect end to this feast.

Date: From Saturday 1 December to Wednesday 26 December
Price: $395 pp plus 10% service (an optional wine pairing for $198 is also on offer)
